Anger Let Loose

On January 11th, 2010, the New York City Police Department received a tip that a Manhattan woman had been caught on video kicking and leash-choking her dog. This case of abuse also happened to occur in the same public housing project where a surveillance video captured a dog beating only 2 weeks before. At approximately 2 a.m. on Jan. 11, 2010, the NYPD’s surveillance system captured Tiara Davis beating Sparky, her four-year-old Pomeranian in an elevator. The 31-year-old apparently lost her temper after Sparky urinated on the elevator floor. The video clearly shows Davis punching, kicking and swinging the small dog by his neck until he blacked out.

This article just drove e crazy. How stupid of a person are you when you believe it is acceptable to swing your tiny dog around by his neck, kicking and punching him all the while, just because he leaked a bit? What kind of person are you? This is just one more example to me of how inconceivably stupid and insensitive to pain the human race has become.

Evidence

  • Almost 35% of animal cruelty cases worldwide are abandonment/neglect related.
  • More than 25% of California's animal cruelty cases are also abandonment/neglect cases.
  • 44% of abusers are between the ages of 30 - 50 years old.

Questions
  • When do these kinds of people get what they deserve?
  • Why is this allowed?
